CLOSED… FOR NOW

We have some news, and honestly we’ve been putting off writing this because it makes it feel real.

We have closed the bakery.

Two and a half years ago this started as something really small. We just wanted to share real sourdough bread with our neighbours. That was it. We had no idea it would turn into what it did.

But then you started ordering. Every week, without fail. Friday pickups became something we genuinely looked forward to — seeing the same faces at the door, catching up, sending you home with a fresh loaf. When we threw in cinnamon buns, you lost your minds a little, and honestly so did we. The school markets, the community events, every single one reminded us why we started.

You didn’t just support a small business. You made it feel like something that mattered. You told your neighbours, you showed up every week, and a lot of you went from customers to people we genuinely care about.

We’re stepping away to travel with our family, and while we are so ready for that, leaving this is harder than we expected.

Thank you for trusting us with your Friday table. It meant everything.
